France Calls for Fair and Lasting Peace in Ukraine
France has reaffirmed its strong support for Ukraine, calling for a just and peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict. In a recent statement, French officials condemned Russia’s aggression, emphasizing that Ukraine has the right to defend its sovereignty under international law and the UN Charter.
Russia’s Violation of Agreements
🔴 Russia abandoned the Minsk agreements, which were meant to reintegrate Donetsk and Luhansk under Ukrainian sovereignty.
🔴 Instead of pursuing peace, Russia escalated tensions and launched its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.
